Why Salt Therapy? |
Toxicity is the number one enemy of modern Man. It doesn't "discriminate" against anyone based on age, race, religion, or gender. It equally destroys the quality of life of all people, all over the world. Toxic substances can be found everywhere; in the food we eat, in the water we drink and bathe in, the air we breathe, in the homes we live in, and the clothes we wear. The "invisible" toxicity of stress and anger pollutes our soul and relationships, resulting in our feeling confused, lost, and lonely. |

More than ever before, exercising, along with cleansing and detoxing regularly, are the fundamental building blocks for a good quality of life. In order to be healthy, cleansing is not a choice, it is an absolute necessity.
Increasing pollutants in our air and water have resulted in a rapid rise in respiratory and skin problems. Respiratory diseases have become a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Asthma, allergies, and chronic cough have become ever more prevalent in industrialized societies, with special impact on children and the elderly.
It is commonly believed that we are exposed to toxins mostly through the food and water we consume, when in fact, our skin and lungs are the main interface with the outside world. The skin, as the body’s largest organ, plays a crucial role in regulating the body’s temperature and keeping the outside, well, outside! There is no need to emphasize the importance of the lungs. We can function without food and water for a while, but when we stop breathing for a few minutes, we die. Obviously, our lungs and skin are very sensitive to environmental factors and can easily absorb toxins.

The solution for this modern problem is actually very ancient: SALT! The healing knowledge of salt has been known since Hippocrates, was rediscovered in Polish salt mines and developed into modern halotherapy by Russian scientis. Salt's anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties calm the skin and cleanse the chest and lungs, giving relief to bronchial problems, pulmonary disorders, and skin issues. Additionally, negatively charged salt ions have a positive impact on our central nervous system by helping the body to switch from stress mode (sympathetic mode) to relaxation and healing (parasympathetic) mode.
